XCAD 2008 by iComS

The XCAD® is a program CAD (Computer Aided Design). It’s developer by Brazilian company iComS, and use in your core the IntelliCAD® technology by ITC.

The XCAD® is a software 100% compatible with DWG files, because use the technology of OpenDWG®. The XCAD® open, edit and save whatever version of DWG file existing, including files of AutoCAD® until the 2008 version, without conversion or lost of date. This ensures that all users of CAD, in standard DWG, can automatically migrate to our platform.

Productivity

XCAD® offers many features of productivity to help you get the best possible use of time spent creating drawings. You can organize objects in layers, give precise positioning to entities, use features in Model Space or Paper Space and create models 2D or 3D. Beyond that, the XCAD® Explorer offers the exclusive ability of review and change of layers, blocks, line types, stile of dimensioning and text, just using the feature “drag-and-drop” easily. And tanks to ActiveX integration, you can insert drawings of XCAD® (or just parts them) in files of application of Microsoft® Office, Corel®, PhotoShop® and much more.

Use of Application

The XCAD® has total compatibility with the AutoCAD®, both in the group of commands, as in resources of development counting with APIs such as LIPS, SDS and VBA. This means that you can start work immediately with the DWG files, using commands and applications that dependent those resources. If you have existing applications, which were made using the ADS or AutoLISP®, you can use them quickly in XCAD® using the same language and the functions that you're used to. XCAD® also includes an object VBA, which can be used to program quick solutions or to create applications SDS inside your company.
